All diese klänge wurden teils mit vintage synths teils mit laptop erzeugt. Mikrofone wurden definitiv nicht verwendet.

Cineastische klangmalerei, die nie den anspruch erhebt, intelektuell verstanden zu werden, sondern die zum darin versinken verleiten will.
Angedockt am kreisend-fliessenden klangteppich, das alltägliche ausblendend um vielleicht in eine innere welt spiralförmig eintauchen zu können.


Squashing bananas; popping balloons; scratching metal sheets; whale grunting in the belly; snapping wood; crackling aluminium...
All these sounds were produced partly using vintage synths and partly a laptop. Microphones definitely were not used.

Sound collages which never want to be understood intellectually, but want to invite you to lose yourself instead.
Docked to the whirling-floating ground of sound, fading out the all-too-normal in order to be able to dive spirally into an inner world.

"A slow crescendo of what sounds like soft noise music and nature ambience
translated into cyberaudio bulges into a not offensive noise burst, then
backs off, then returns (like switching a switch on a blowtorch) to a soft
bath of sound with a slight attenuation twoard experimental musical
undertrones, if very minute. Drifting, drawn out notes find themselves as
the background to curious fireflies of static buzzing harmlessly about you,
maybe with a tad of insistence. At times, computery-ness draws very night to
being bona fide music, even if it is very offbeat and esoteric and heavily

Did the thought ever cross your mind: “why is abstract music mostly preformed by underground artists, and most labels that deal in it are independent labels?”
So take a minute for thinking about it….
O.K, minute over, what’s your answer?
Well the answer is rather obvious, abstract music demands loads of patience and imagination from its listeners, on one hand, and
from the labels that sell this music to a small, select target audience, which can appreciate all the tiny nuisances of the music, on the other.
That’s why such albums are issued in only a small amount, but the end product is of extremely high quality, and has excellent composition.
This case introduces us to a varied album, which benefits from an interesting and original cover, which depicts a car junkyard,
littered with crushed cars, something which may suggest Machine oriented music, aggressive and hard, in other words - raw.
Be here lies our first misassumption, and kudos for the artist for seemingly drawing a rabbit from his musical bag, proving himself to be unexpected and surprising.
The music is indeed of the electronic, abstract variety, but it is highly enjoyable, filled with textures and dynamics.
One minute where thrown into a calming, unclear harmony, and the next introduces a sudden barrage of noise, which brings us to a sudden dash of reality, much like the reality we live in - noisy and uncertain.
The first track – MONDAEN sounds like filter movements using a square LFO, accompanied by abstract noises, all in all, an excellent opener.
The next track is warmer, using PADS filters; the fourth is ZARTBITTER a dazzling display of groove, using Beats & Beepsand a cool affect that simulates a crying sound (STEP CRY).
The following tracks continue living up to the album’s initial expectations, a bit more abstract at times, suddenly thrown into a groove, and at certain points, they combine the two together.
Track 11,MUTTERMUND is an excellent Chill–Out track, which I really liked; it has a true professional feel to it.
The album has 14 tracks in all, and I warmly recommend it, even on a cold day!

This is another Chmafu nocords release. Small label positioned in Graz, Austria, but organized by Venusian guy maru. Probably he is also from graz but just wants to present that he is from Venus. But who knows.
This is at the moment one of latest releases and
developing of the sound of the label can be obviously noticed.

Neudeck is playing with squashing bananas, popping balloons,
scratching metal sheets, whale grunting in the belly, snapping wood, crackling aluminium...
All these sounds can be recognized in fourteen
tracks that can be found on this release. Produced partly using
vintage synths and partly a laptop, without using microphones, this sound collages are playing with noises creating subtle melodies and
fine ambient textures. Noise burst are interrupting into soft noisy soundscapes constructing fine floating sound collage. Sometimes
appears rhythm constructed out of clicks. Amorphous beat can be also seen. On moments esoteric, calming and harmonic, on moments concrete,
dynamics and uncertain this release gives us nice and calm perspective of experimental noisy music. Cover, designed with nice
pictures including junkyard littered with crushed cars, gives one another beautiful dimension.

Made up of small digital sounds this CD starts off as with a minimal collage of sounds, very subtle and unobtrusive. This is followed by a full on track, highfrequ, with a kicking beat for the short length of its duration. New ideas and sounds are developed constantly and you never know what to expect next. The quality is impeccable and the sounds created are often quite addictive. The ripping, car starting, revving sound of kratzlauf set against quite an ambient contrasting background is strong and effective. This artist doesn’t seem to be afraid to explore many different directions from quite dance-beat driven track to more obscure, sound collages. He also seems to succeed in his aims for the most part although at times I thought that the good idea that was developing was cut off all too suddenly.
Apart from some obvious use of preset software instrument sounds this CD comes across as being quite original in its diversity and is an enjoyable listen.
